This product is in open beta. It’s available for use but still in active development and may change.
The Settings menu in Zapier Functions lets you change how the code editor works.
To reach the Settings menu:
- From the Functions home, select a function or create a new one.
- In the left sidebar, click the Settings icon to open the Settings menu.
Change the suggestion shortcut
If the shortcut CTRL + Space
is in use by another app, you can change it to any other key combination.
- From the Settings menu, click the Editor suggestion hotkeys field.
- Type the key combination on your keyboard.
- Click Save.
Change the color theme
- From the Settings menu, click the Editor color theme dropdown menu.
- Select the color theme's name. The editor will change to the new theme.
- Click Save.
Change the default tab size
You can change the number of spaces a tab represents by entering the number in the Editor tab size text field. This tab size will be applied to all new files from then on.
Changing the default tab size will not affect existing files. If a file already has tabs, the editor will try to use the same tab size.
Prevent auto-inserting parameters
By default, if you delete an action parameter, it will will be auto-inserted when you type into your file. To prevent that:
- Click the Auto-insert params toggle off.
- The field Insert params hotkeys will appear. Type a key combination on your keyboard.
- Click Save.
The default key combination for inserting parameters is CTRL + Shift + Space
.
