With Google Vertex AI, you can use artificial intelligence to classify text amongst a list of categories.

To set up a Classify Text action:

1. Choose the app and event

In the Zap outline, click the Action step or the plus sign + to add a new action. A dialog box will open.
Search and select Google Vertex AI.
Click the Action event dropdown menu.
Select Classify Text.
Click Continue.

Text: Add text or map fields from previous steps to summarize.
Categories: Add the name of your categories for classification. To add a new category, click out of the field and a new category row will appear.
Project ID: From the dropdown menu, select your project ID.
Model Region: By default, us-central1 will be selected.
Advanced Fields (optional): To adjust your large language model (LLM) parameters, select True from the Advanced Fields dropdown menu. Your screen will refresh to show the advanced fields.
Once you’ve set up your fields, click Continue.

Once you’ve set up your Classify Text action, you can continue setting up the rest of your Zap.
