Symptoms
You notice that the Zapier editor is displaying the previous name of your spreadsheet or worksheet, even though you have recently changed the name in Google Sheets.
Causes
Zapier caches the names of spreadsheets and worksheets when you first select them. When you change the name in Google Sheets, Zapier isn't immediately notified of this change, so it continues to display the previous name in the editor.
How to fix it
To fix this problem, follow these steps:
- In your Google Sheets step, click the Spreadsheet or Worksheet dropdown menu.
- Select a spreadsheet or worksheet different from the one you want to use.
- Click the dropdown menu again. You should see the most updated name appear.
- Select the updated spreadsheet or worksheet you want.
