About Kit's app

Triggers, searches, and actions

Triggers

Triggers

  • New Form Subscriber (Instant) - Triggers when a subscription occurs on a specific form.
  • New Sequence Subscriber (Instant) - Triggers when a subscriber is added to a sequence.
  • Subscriber Added to Tag (Instant) - Triggers when a specific tag is added to a subscriber.
  • New Unsubscribe (Instant) - Triggers when a subscriber unsubscribes from your emails.

  • Tag Removed From Subscriber (Instant) - Triggers when a specific tag is removed from a subscriber.
Searches

Searches

  • Find Subscriber - Finds an existing confirmed subscriber by email.
Actions

Actions

  • Create or Update Purchase - Adds a purchase to a subscriber, or updates an existing purchase.
  • Add Tag to Subscriber - Add a subscriber to a specific tag.
  • API Request (Beta) - This is an advanced action which makes a raw HTTP request that includes this integration's authentication.
  • Add Subscriber to Form - Subscribe someone to a specific form.
  • Add Subscriber to Sequence - Add a subscriber to a specific sequence.
  • Remove Tag From Subscriber - Remove a specific tag from a subscriber if they have it.

Limitations

  • By default, Kit requires subscribers to double-opt-in to emails for confirmation, meaning they will not show up on the list until they confirm their subscription.
  • New subscribers added manually in Kit via the "Import Subscribers" button do not trigger automation triggers. Subscribers must be added through a form, landing page, Zapier, or the Kit API to trigger automations.
