Prerequisites
To use the Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM app on Zapier, you must have:
- A paid Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM plan (cloud-hosted accounts only).
- System Administrator security role or a custom security role with appropriate privileges assigned to your Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM account.
- A paid Zapier plan. Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM is a premium app on Zapier.
Connect Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM to Zapier
To create an app connection to Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM on Zapier:
- Go to the Apps page.
- Click + Add connection.
- A new dialog box will appear. Search for and select Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM.
- Click Add connection.
- A new browser tab or window will open.
- Log into Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM to authenticate.
- Grant Zapier permission to access your account if prompted to.
Your Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM account is now successfully connected to Zapier.

Limitations
- This integration only supports Microsoft Dynamics 365 Online version. On-premises installations are not supported, however you can use on-premise installations with webhooks.
- Custom lookup fields in Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM may cause API errors if they do not include @odata.bind suffixin the property name.
- Clear your cache if you receive the error "App received or responded with too much data" error and can't load any test records.
