You can restrict data displayed on a Table or Kanban component in your interface by using filters, views, or by hiding fields.

Filters

Filters are available on the Interfaces Advanced plan.

You can filter tables' records using rules that are similar to the ones available for Zapier Tables. Learn more about how rules work.

  1. From the Interfaces home, click the name of your interface.
  2. Click the page where your component is.
  3. Click your Table or Kanban component. A sidebar will open.
  4. In the sidebar, click the Data tab.
  5. Click Filter, three new fields will appear:
    1. Click the first dropdown menu to select the field that will be filtered.
    2. Click the second dropdown menu to select the rule.
    3. Click the text field to enter the value that will be used in the filter. Some rules do not require a value.
  6. Click Save changes.

When a filter is active, only records or cards that match the filter will be displayed.

Views

You can select a table view to display a subset of data in your Table or Kanban component.

  1. From the Interfaces home, click the name of your interface.
  2. Click the page where your component is.
  3. Click your Table or Kanban component. A sidebar will open.
  4. In the sidebar, click the Data tab.
  5. Click the Table View dropdown menu and select the view to display.

Remove a view

To stop using a view on a component and return to the full table, you must remove the table and re-add it.

  1. From the Interfaces home, click the name of your interface.
  2. Click the page where your component is.
  3. Click your Table or Kanban component. A sidebar will open.
  4. In the sidebar, click the Data tab.
  5. On the Table field, click the X icon beside the table's name. This will remove the table from the component.
  6. Click the Table field to search and select the table again.
