When you start creating a BambooHR Zap, you will be asked to connect your BambooHR account.

Next, you'll be asked to enter your BambooHR API key.

BambooHR API Key

To locate your API Key in your BambooHR account, please follow these steps:

  1. Log into your BambooHR account.
  2. Click your name in the top right.
  3. Click on "API Keys."
  4. Create an API Key and copy to your clipboard.
  5. Paste that API Key in the placeholder.
  6. Type in the subdomain text that is before .bamboohr.com in your browser's address bar in the placeholder.

Paste your key back into your Zapier account and then “Continue”.

If all steps were successful your BambooHR account will now be successfully connected.
