Helicone and Zapier connect to automate AI monitoring. You can find user requests and make API calls to track LLM performance and debug applications.
Prerequisites
To use the Helicone app on Zapier, you must have:
- A Helicone account.

A Helicone API key with appropriate permissions.

- Read permissions begin with "sk".
- Write permissions begin with "pk"

Connect Helicone to Zapier
To create an app connection to Helicone on Zapier:
- Go to the Apps page.
- Click + Add connection.
- A new dialog box will appear. Search for and select Helicone.
- Click Add connection.
- A Connect an Account page will open in a browser tab or window.
- Complete these fields:
- API Key: enter your Helicone API key.
- Region: Select your Helicone region.
- Click Yes, Continue to Helicone.
Your Helicone account is now successfully connected to Zapier.

- API Request (Beta) - This is an advanced action which makes a raw HTTP request that includes this integration's authentication.
Limitations
- Request limits are based on Helicone plans. Free Hobby plan is limited to 10,000 requests per month, with usage-based pricing applying for additional requests on paid plans.
- EU customers must use keys with "eu-" prefix for proper regional routing, which could complicate multi-region deployments.
- Rate limits are bounded by the underlying LLM provider's policies, meaning Helicone cannot exceed the limits set by services like OpenAI or Anthropic.
