Keap and Zapier connect to automate your CRM work. You can trigger actions when new contacts are added and create or update contacts and apply tags.

Prerequisites

To use the Keap app on Zapier, you must have:

  • An active Keap account.

Connect Keap to Zapier

To create an app connection to Keap on Zapier:

  • Go to the Apps page.
  • Click + Add connection.
  • A new dialog box will appear. Search for and select Keap.
  • Click Add connection.
  • A new browser tab or window will open.
  • Log into Keap to authenticate.
  • Grant Zapier permission to access your account if prompted to.

Your Keap account is now successfully connected to Zapier.

Triggers, searches, and actions

Triggers
  • New Action Sequence (Polling) - Triggers when a new Action Sequence is added.
  • New Appointment Event (Instant) - For Ultimate users: triggers when a new appointment is added, deleted, or edited.
  • New Contact (Instant) - Triggers when a new contact is created.
  • New Note Event (Instant) - Triggers when a new note is added, deleted, or edited.
  • New Product Event (Instant) - Triggers when a product is added, edited, or deleted.
  • New Subscription Plan (Polling) - Triggers when a new Subscription Plan is added.
  • New Task (All Tasks) (Instant) - Triggers when a task is added, deleted, edited, complete or incomplete.
  • New Invoice (Instant) - Triggers when a new invoice is created. This will trigger the moment the invoice is created, before any details are added.
  • New Payment (All Payment Type) (Instant) - Triggers when any payment is made regardless of the payment type. Credit Card Payments, Cash Payments, and Check Payments.
  • New Assigned Task (Instant) - Triggers when a new task is created. Please note: only tasks assigned to the authenticated user may be retrieved through this trigger. Use the New Task Event trigger to retrieve all tasks.
  • Updated Contact (Instant) - Triggers when an existing contact is updated.
  • New Affiliate (Polling) - For Ultimate users, triggers when a new affiliate is added.
  • New Company Event (Instant) - Triggers when a company is added, deleted, or edited.
  • New Invoice Event (Instant) - Triggers when a invoice is added, deleted, or edited.
  • New Opportunity Event (Instant) - Triggers when an opportunity is added, deleted, edited, or when the opportunity stage moves.
  • New Subscription Event (Instant) - Triggers when a subscription is added, edited, or deleted.
  • New Tag Event (Instant) - Triggers when a tag is added, edited, deleted, or applied to a contact.
  • New Credit Card Charge - Merchant Only (Instant) - Triggers when a new credit card charge is made. (Merchant Only).
  • New Manual Payment – (Cash, Check) (Instant) - Triggers when a New Manual Payment is added. (Cash or Check).
  • New Contact Tag (Instant) - Triggers when a tag is applied to a contact.
  • New Refund (Polling) - Triggers when a new refund is created.

Limitations

  • API rate limits apply. OAuth2 Bearer Tokens are limited to 1,500 queries per minute and 150,000 queries per day (resets at 12:00 AM UTC). Personal Access Tokens or Service Account Keys are limited to 10 queries per second, 240 queries per minute, and 30,000 queries per day.
  • The Keap Max Classic integration is being phased out and hidden from access. Users are encouraged to migrate to the new unified Keap App on Zapier, as neither Keap nor Zapier will maintain support for the Keap Max Classic or Zapier integration.
  • Some triggers and actions are specific to Ultimate users only, such as appointment triggers and opportunity triggers, limiting functionality for users on lower-tier plans.
  • Due to recent security updates, the Password field is no longer available in the New Affiliate trigger.
