Klaviyo and Zapier connect to automate email marketing. You can trigger actions when new profiles join lists or events occur and create subscribers or track customer actions.
Prerequisites
To use the Klaviyo app on Zapier, you must have:
- An active Klaviyo account (free or paid plan).
- Add Zapier as an app from Klaviyo's marketplace.
Connect Klaviyo to Zapier
To create an app connection to Klaviyo on Zapier:
- Go to the Apps page.
- Click + Add connection.
- A new dialog box will appear. Search for and select Klaviyo.
- Click Add connection.
- A new browser tab or window will open.
- Log into Klaviyo to authenticate.
- Grant Zapier permission to access your account if prompted to.
Your Klaviyo account is now successfully connected to Zapier.

- New Event - Triggers on a new event. Optional filtering by metric. (Polling)
- New Profile - Triggers when a new Profile is created. Optionally filter for new Profiles that subscribed to a specific channel. (Polling)
- Profile added to Segment or List - Triggers when a Profile is added to a Segment or to a List. (Polling)

- Remove Tag from Segment - Removes an existing tag from a Segment
- Update Profile - Updates an existing profile and optionally adds them to a list
- Subscribe Profile - Subscribe a Profile to Email Marketing, SMS Marketing or both
- API Request (Beta) - This is an advanced action which makes a raw HTTP request that includes this integration's authentication

API rate limits apply. Klaviyo's API has rate limits that can impact the performance of your Zapier integrations. These limits control the number of requests you can make in a given timeframe.
