When setting up a Zap using a LinkedIn Ads trigger, you cannot receive any test data from your account.
Causes
This happens because, during trigger testing, the LinkedIn Ads trigger can only receive test data sent through LinkedIn’s testing tool. It will not find real leads in your account.
How to fix it
To fix this:
- Follow LinkedIn’s tutorial on sending a test lead in Campaign Manager.
- Test your Zap steps to check that it works as expected.

When using LinkedIn’s testing tool, all test submissions will have the same Lead ID.
