Beta

Custom Actions is a beta feature. It is available for use, but is still in active development and may change.

In the Custom Actions library, you can view, edit, and manage your custom actions in one place. You can also view ones created by your teammates.

Note

Custom actions created with the Start Simple Builder are no longer visible in the Custom Actions Library because they were converted to API Request actions on July 8, 2024. Learn more in this release note.

Library controls

In the Custom Action library, you have several controls:

Filter : Allows you to filter based on the status or visibility.
Search : Allows you to search by app, user, or name.
: Allows you to view custom actions in a list.
: Allows you to view custom actions in a grid.
Sort : Allows you to sort custom actions by most recently created or oldest.

Edit a custom action

Go to the Custom Action Builder.
Find the custom action and click the three dot icon .
From the dropdown menu, click Edit.
The Custom Action Builder will open, allowing you to make changes.
Once you are happy with your changes, click Publish.

Note

Custom actions can only be edited by the owner.
Updating a custom action automatically updates Zaps containing it, including those used by your teammates.

Unpublish a custom action

Go to the Custom Action library.
Find the action and click the three dot icon .
From the dropdown menu, select Edit.
Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Unpublish.

Note

Unpublished custom actions will no longer appear in the Zap editor.
Any Zaps currently using the unpublished custom action will no longer function.

Delete a custom action

Go to the Custom Action library.
Find the action and click the three dot icon .
From the dropdown menu, select Delete.
A dialog box will appear. Click Delete.
