Table of Contents
The App Manifest menu lets you control which version of a Zapier app is used when you run your function. All apps you add to your code will appear in the menu.
This product is in open beta. It’s available for use but still in active development and may change.
Change an app's version
To change the version of your app that's in use by a function:
- From the Functions home, select your function.
- Click the App Manifest icon on the left sidebar. It will expand to show all apps used in the function.
- Click the dropdown menu associated with the app you want to update.
- Select the app version you want to use.
- The newest version will display the label "recommended."
- Deploy the new version of your function to reflect these changes in production.
App version status
The App Manifest menu uses icons to indicate the following statuses:
- Green checkmark: your function is using the latest version of that app.
- Yellow alert: your function is using an older version of that app.
App deprecation notifications
If the app version you're using is being deprecated, you'll receive an email notification. You can go to Zapier Functions to update your app version.
