We’re excited to announce two updates to the Team plan. You can now use SAML single sign-on (SSO) with your Team plan at no extra cost, and we’re introducing a 25-user limit to simplify team management and enhance security.
SSO: safeguard your data
Single sign-on (SSO) gives your organization a secure way to control access to Zapier by creating a single set of credentials to access multiple applications. Zapier employs SSO with Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML). It uses industry-standard SAML 2.0 so you can easily integrate with any identity provider (IdP) that supports this protocol.
Using SSO makes it easy to provide your whole team with the tools to scale their workflows without compromising on security. To enable SSO, the account owner or an admin must visit the security and privacy page in your account settings. Need help? Learn how to set up SSO step by step.
- If SSO is not available on your Team plan, you might be on a legacy plan. To access this feature, you must move to a current plan.
- If you already purchased SSO as an add-on in your Team account, you'll receive back the full purchase cost as a thank-you for being an early adopter! You'll receive an email with more information.
User number reduction
We received feedback from users that SSO was a must-have for Team plans, while less than 1% of users on Team plans had more than 25 members in their account.
So, if your account exceeds this limit, you do not need to change anything until your plan's next renewal date. At that moment, you can remove existing users beyond the 25-user limit or consider upgrading to the Enterprise plan for unlimited users and other advanced features. Our sales team will contact you to assist in the transition.
Visit the Members page in your Team account to view all existing members. Learn how to remove existing members.
