Agents have tools that do not depend on external apps. You can ask the agent to visit a website or perform a Google search.

Add a default tool
- Visit agents.zapier.com.
- From the Zapier Agents home, select your agent.
- In the Instructions field, click Insert tools.
- Select one of the default tools:
- Visit website
- Google search
Visit website
This tool allows the agent to visit a given URL and collect information from it.
The agent cannot log in to websites.
Google search
The agent can search Google for a given search term and retrieve the results it found.
Using default tools
Once you add a default tool, it will appear as a text pill in the Instructions field. Move them to any spot in the Instructions field to provide better context to the agent. You can also:
- Delete it using
Del
orBackspace
on your keyboard. - Click and drag to move it to another part of the field.
Provide feedback and get help
Submit a feature request, provide feedback on existing features, or get help from the Zapier Agents team. You can also discuss Agents with other users on Zapier's Early Access Program Slack.
